Channing Clarkson

Reared in the cold and snowy upper mid-west, Channing Clarkson was a delighted boy of 12 years old when his father transferred his family to Southern California. An idyllic adolescence was spent romping in the surf and occasionally attending class. Though not a terribly bright, talented or ambitious lad, he nevertheless managed to graduate from college in San Francisco only to return to the beaches of Santa Monica. It was there that he met people who had met the likes of Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Sharon Stone, Toby Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and Rick Detorie to name just a few. Returning to the Bay Area, he was encouraged to look beyond being fired from his series of meaningless jobs. It was then, three years ago at the suggestion of a friend, that he discovered improvisation at BATS. He has also seen the scripted production of The Curse of the Starving Class at ACT and the musical Lennon at the Orpheum Theatre.
