Jon Ligon

Jon Ligon has been a fan of improvisation since he caught many Second City shows growing up in Illinois. However Jon never had a job that would allow him to take improv classes as he was always traveling. Lo and behold, at the ripe age of 32, Jon quit traveling for work and took a class at BATS in San Francisco. Since that time, he has never stopped improvising because he finds making up stuff to be such a blast.

Jon has been fortunate to study with BATS in San Francisco for several years. Also Jon has also been lucky enough to study with such fantastic improvisers as Rafe Chase, Tim Orr, Stephen Kearin, and Gerri Lawlor. Jon performs with the Sunday Players at BATS and also with the long-form group, Double Entendre.
